Club Rules
|
| Pit Passes |
Persons in a designated pit area MUST be in possession of a pit pass and/or wristband. Drivers are
responsible for their pit area and can be disqualified for people in their area without a pass. This
is for the safety of everyone at the track.

| Practice |
Each driver entering the track must first sign a release/waiver. Minors can not sign a release/waiver.
Release/waivers for minors must be signed by a parent or legal guardian over the age of 18. This includes
race days as well as any time the track is open. Insurance is provided on race days only.

| Used Oil/Fuel |
Use only marked and approved containers. If caught dumping on the ground or in trash cans, club and track
privileges will be taken away. Any spills must be cleaned up immediately. No Exceptions.

| Refunds |
No refunds will be given once practice starts. |
| Alcohol/Drugs |
The consumption of alcoholic beverages or drugs by drivers or crew members will not be tolerated at any
time before, during or after an event on track property. Penalty for non-compliance is a season long suspension.

| Sportsmanship |
Physical contact and/or acts of aggression will not be tolerated. Drivers and crews are responsible for their
actions. Violation of this rule will result in a disqualification and a 2 race suspension or a possible ban from
the club (see also Club Officials on page 4).

| Protests |
All protests must be done in writing and given to Race Director. Only written protests within 15 minutes after
incident will be discussed. This will be done at an appropriate time not during a race.
|
| Scoring |
Transponders and legible numbers are required to be scored. Numbers must be at 4 locations on the kart; one on the
front, rear, and each side of the kart. This is the responsibly of the driver. Transponder location for all classes
except Rotax is 9 inches behind center line of top of kingpin bolt. Rotax mount transponders on back of seat.

| Bodywork |
Dimensions per 2008 WKA tech manual. Club reserves the right to over-ride, if deemed inappropriate or unsafe.
Bodywork rulings will be pre-race not post-race tech.

| Pit Area |
No driving in pit area once practice begins. Shut engine off at the scale; restart once on the grid. |
| Disqualification |
Refusal to report to engine tech will carry a 1 race suspension and a $100 fine. Any flagrant engine DQ will carry
a $100 fine & illegal part will be retained by club until the end of the season. Refusal to comply will result in a
season suspension. The club reserves the right to refuse entrance to track property.

| Checks |
Accepted, with valid Drivers License number. A $35.00 fee for returned checks, track privileges revoked until cleared up.
|
| Soliciting |
No karting related business is allowed on the track property, without prior written or verbal consent of the
club's Board of Directors.
|
| Radios |
The use of two way radios are not permitted. |
| Restrictor Plate |
Plates are subject to inspection at ANY time during the event. Any illegal plate or refusal to allow inspection will
result in disqualification for rest of event.

| Silencers |
All 4 cycle engines will run RLV mufflers at all times. All 2 cycle engines will use WKA approved air box.
This is for practice as well as racing.
|
| Weights |
All bolt-on weights must be painted white, and attached per WKA tech manual. |
| Points |
Three race drops will be allowed. A disqualification or claim refusal cannot be used as a drop. A Senior driver must
compete in at least 8 races to be eligible for end of year awards. A Junior driver must compete in at least 6 races
to be eligible for end of year awards.
Points system used: 1st - 25, 2nd - 22, 3rd - 20, each next position - minus 1 point. 22nd place - 1 point.

| Awards |
Awards will given out as follows:
Junior Racers: First through third position regardless of number of entries.
Senior racers:
2-4 entries: first place only
5-7 entries: first & second place
8-20 entries: first, second & third place
Awards will be presented at the following race, during the drivers meeting. End of Year awards will be determined
in the same fashion.

| Race Tech |
WKA tech manual to be used when applicable. Any rule change will take effect at the first race following an announced
change, except a safety related change.
|
| Club Membership |
Membership fees are as follows: Single Driver Family Membership - $40 per year. Multi Driver Family Membership - $60 per year.
|
| Race Fees |
Entry fee is $40.00 for club members (includes pit pass), and $50 for non-club members (pit pass included).
Pit passes will be $8.00 for all crew members and non-competitors. Everyone entering the pit area is considered
a participant and must have a pit pass. Drivers will be responsible for people in their pit area.

| Insurance |
Medical insurance and a certified EMT are provided at each race. No insurance will be provided during non-race times.
|
| Race Protest |
All protests must be in writing, by the driver involved or the parent of a junior driver, within 15 minutes of incident,
protest will be discussed at an appropriate time, Engine protests must be accompanied with a $20 fee, club will retain
$10 of each protest.
|
| Appeals |
In the event of engine disqualification, an appeal can be requested, of fee of $25 is required, in the event the
disqualification be upheld the fee will be forfeited. In the event of the disqualification being overturned the fee
will be returned.
