|Racers started arriving Wednesday for an open practice with a whole day of beautiful weather controlled practice Thursday ending at ending at about 6:30. We has a confirmed count of 155 karts (thanks David Lawrence)!
The racers voted to have controlled practice all Thursday vs practice and one heat of racing.
Friday arrived rainy with no chance of any track time today.
The kart show will be held Sat morning as planned, followed by the planned final practice and race heats, and awards when the skies clear.
We will,go into Sunday if necessary, but we loose vintage racers each day.
I what to thank the volunteers we had on Thursday and Friday, for a total 8 volunteers. Three of the volunteers were from one family,,two from another.
The volunteers worked from 7am until after 6:30 pm. I DO appreciate it. We could have not had such a safe, productive day without you. I will name names soon, to give all the recognition due.
Hoping for clearing weather Sat! c
