Something that should not be tolerated in our sport. Period.

This is GSKA rule on tire prep:

1.7 Tire Treating: There will be absolutely no treatment of tires allowed on the track premises during any
GSKA sponsored event. Any solid or liquid (chemical) applied to tires in an effort to change the tire’s
characteristics is considered tire treatment. Tire warmers are also considered tire treatment and are not
allowed. Disqualification for the event is the consequence for violation of this rule at the track on race day.
Repeated violations could warranty further disciplinary action.

This means absolutely no prepping at track and there should be no chemicals for tire prepping at track. This includes Acrysol.

Acrysol is a cleaner not a prep.

The way the rule is written you CAN treat your tires at home. I have brought that up but it hasn't been revised.

Tire prep on tires, is like poligrip on dentures. does that explain it. You wouldn't put poligrip on in public would you.
